HICKS HALL
COMPETITION

My redesign of Hicks Hall is inspired by the idea of a bloom, symbolizing growth, renewal, and continuous learning. This concept creates a direct connection to the existing teaching garden, allowing the building and landscape to function as one integrated environment. Just as a bloom unfolds, the redesigned space opens outward—inviting students, faculty, and visitors into a setting that promotes discovery, collaboration, and a stronger relationship between nature and education.
